Do you take my insurance?

Most of our patients are covered by traditional Medicare or a Medicare Advantage plans. We participate in most of these plans and a variety of others. Please call our insurance verification specialist to review your insurance plan with you.

Who will take care of me or my loved one if I go into the hospital?

Our team of medical providers include your nurse practitioner and the physicians at Best Coast Internal Medicine. Your dedicated team will oversee your hospital care and be ready to continue your treatment plan once you are back at your residence facility.

I love my nurse practitioner but don’t I need to see a doctor?

All of our nurse practitioners are board certified with specialized training in geriatric care and overseen by Dr. Daniel Johnson, our medical director. He is always available for consultation. At times your medical care will require an outside consult for specialty. You can rest-assured known our medical providers will help coordinate your specialist care.

How often will I be seen?

Keeping you healthy and active is a top priority. Your provider will visit with you monthly for wellness checks and as often as needed for acute visits.
